B. Toys

I'm always on the look out for cool toys that I think Ellie will love. I was so excited when I happened upon B. Toys at Target. In vibrant & bold colors, adorable & functional packaging, with a playful design, and good quality, these are the best toys I've seen lately. The two most age appropriate for Ellie were the Squirts and the Hug Links pictured to the left and right.

My husband and I had so much fun with the squirt toys. They come in the adorable bucket as you see and they aren't just ordinary squirt toys. The water comes from multiple holes in unusual places when squeezed, making it even more fun when you accidentally squirt your spouse in the face (it's been done!) Ellie loves the bath tub and reaches for the toys when she's kicking and playing. It won't be long before she is squirting mommy in the face, I'm sure. We'll also take them with us to the pool in their bucket. The squirt toys were definitely a hit with us.

The Hug Links are a lot of fun as well. Ellie loves the bright colors. And I love that they aren't the typical colors of the rainbow you see in so many children's toys. They are unique colors and a lot of fun to look at. They too come in a very cute jug with a twist off lid and handle. They easily link together and just as easily unlink from one another. You can make a long chain, or as Ellie demonstrates, you can have fun with the individual links. There is a bead on each link that rattles which Ellie loves anything that makes noise. I just absolutely can't get enough of these toys. Some of the links now have a permanent home in my diaper bag. I can give them too her on car rides without worrying, and when dropped I can wipe them off with a pacifier wipe as I seem to use on everything else! These are literally more fun than a barrel of monkeys!B. Toys is a really cool company. Check out their website HERE. Each toy has a small tag with really cute quotes said by little kids such as "I know the vet is an animal doctor, I just don't know if he's a dog or a cat." -Tyler, age 4. B. Toys uses recycled materials and as I mentioned, they put the toys in reusable packaging like the beach bucket and toy jug. Some of their toys are ready to be gift-wrapped, meaning that you are able to flip the packaging around easily and you're ready to go to that birthday party.
